As of October 2024, Artech Design Group has joined Tinker Ma, LLC.

Founded in 1985, Artech has a legacy of service in Chattanooga and is known for its

mission to enhance client success. Averaging more than 20 years in the industry, the firm's

staff have well-established relationships throughout the region.

Over the years, the leaders of Artech and Tinker Ma have worked as peers, embracing

common values regarding service and design. Trey Wheeler and David Hudson have known

one another since Artech's founding in 1985, and Thomas Palmer and David have enjoyed a

long-standing relationship and regular conversation through AIA Chattanooga. As Thomas

and David discussed the retirement of two of Artech's founding principals, Rice Williams

and Rick Thompson, they realized that collaboration would be advantageous for both firms

and would enhance our combined ability to serve Chattanooga and the region.

The collaboration allows both firms to capitalize on additional resources that align with our

original mission and values. Adding Artech staff enables us to bring on skilled professionals

with significant technical knowledge. We are confident that working as a unified team is the

best way to serve you. We are excited about the next phase of Tinker Ma as we expand

services and become the largest multi-disciplinary architecture, interiors, and planning

firm in Chattanooga.
